Holystone Yoga Holidays Terms and Conditions

1. A booking form must be completed by everyone planning to attend the event.
2. A non-refundable deposit of £50 per bed is required on booking to secure your booking. This must be paid in UK pounds. The booking is not deemed to exist until the funds, or a cleared cheque payment, has reached our bank account, when your booking becomes secure.
3. Confirmation of your booking and of receipt of deposit will be via email unless otherwise requested.
4. Full payment is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival (or on booking for all bookings made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival). This must be paid in UK pounds by bank transfer or cheque payable to Margaret Ranken, Old School, Holystone, Morpeth,Northumberland NE65 7AJ immediately on receipt of notice of payment being due.
5. If full payment is not received within 10 days of notice of payment being due, the booking will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit
6. Cancellation more than 2 weeks prior to departure will result in the loss of your deposit.
7. Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to departure will result in loss of full payment unless your place can be resold. If we are able to resell your place you will be refunded the equivalent of the price for which your place has been sold less your deposit.
8. Insurance: clients are responsible for arranging their own holiday insurance to include cancellation, medical, and third party cover. All personal belongings of the client are the sole responsibility of the client. Extra-curricular activities, including, but not limited to, walking, bicycling, swimming, and horse riding, are undertaken at the holidaymakers own risk. Subject to clause 15 we accept no responsibility for injury, loss or damage howsoever arising.
9. Damage by the client to the cottage, yoga studio bedrooms or grounds must be paid for at the time of the incident.
10. Yoga and health information: It is a condition of your booking that you complete a pre arrival yoga and health questionnaire and, if necessary, provide a Doctor’s certificate that you may participate in yoga classes. Whilst Margaret is experienced in dealing with the needs of all fitness levels, she is not insured for medical yoga. If as a result of any error or omission on your part in the completion of your health questionnaire you find that you are unable to participate in certain classes, Holystone Yoga accepts no responsibility to provide alternative arrangements or any refund.
11. The terms of your booking and any claim relating to it, the provision of services to you by Holystone Yoga and/or its staff and subcontractors and any other matter arising out of this contract or your holiday will be governed by English Law, and shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Subject to clause 15, any liability of Holystone Yoga will be limited to the value of any payments already received by Holystone Yoga from the claimant at the date of claim.
12. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking, due to matters within our control, you will be offered a full refund, or alternative holiday of equivalent value at mutually convenient time.
13. If we have to cancel your booking due to matters beyond our control, such as force majeure, including war, civil strife and inclement weather, we will not be able to offer a refund but will provide such evidence as may reasonably be required in order to permit you to pursue a claim via your insurance company.
14. We cannot be held responsible for any delay you incur whilst travelling to Holystone.
15. Nothing in this agreement is intended to exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury arising from negligence or for loss arising from negligent misrepresentation or fraud.
16. The accommodation will be held for between the dates agreed at the time of booking only. Your room will be available from 3pm on the agreed arrival date until 10am on the agreed departure date. We may on request be able to permit earlier access or late departures but are not able to guarantee this.
17. No pets are permitted in the cottage.
18. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas.
We have tried to be entirely accurate will all information given, but, subject to clause 15, cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies. If there are any changes we will notify you when you book.
